ALLEN, Rachel - Putnam

The death of Mrs. Rachel Allen, age 63, wife of Millard ALlen, who resides about 4 miles north of town, occurred Sunday night at near 10 o'clock at the home after an illness of heart disease. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the home, conducted by the Rev. Levi Marshall. Burial will be in the Brick Chapel cemetery.  Mrs. Allen leave sthree sons - Neal, James and Fred - all of this county. Both the husband and one son are confined to their beds by illnesses of influenza. - kbz
